Here's Jerry Peterson, owner of Woods Wise calls. I told him he had a great logo. (Like mine, it features an antler and a turkey tail feather. Apparently great minds think alike!) Jerry has a great new deer call he's named the Super Hot Ma-Mah -- comes with a DVD. It's all rubber so it's silent and flexible, and it makes great contact calls and hot doe bleats. It uses two reeds -- one when you inhale and the other when you exhale.



Bill Winke of www.MidwestWhitetail.com, one of the foremost whitetail writers in America, is also one of the nicest guys in the industry. That mess of antlers behind us is the Tony Lovstuen world record non-typical whitetail.

I spent a good bit of time with Lane and Lanny Benoit at the 2009 Eastern Sport Show in Harrisburg. The Benoit family has been famous for their deer tracking skills since the 1970s.
